If you’re not sure how to use the egg stripper, below you’ll find helpful steps to follow.
Egg Stripper will be in direct contact with your eggs, therefore we strongly recommend washing with regular dishwasher soap and water before first use. Dry with hand towel.
Tip: Initial opening may be tight fitting at first but will loosen after you lightly coat bottom threads with vegetable oil using a paper towel. You'll see tremendous difference.
1 - Fill Medium size pot with enough water to cover the eggs.
Add 1Tbsp. of salt and bring to a full boil. Gently spoon in eggs, cover with a lid bring water back to a boil. Then,
cook (covered) for 12 minutes.
2 - Remove eggs from heat, drain hot water and immediately run cold water thoroughly over eggs.
Add enough ice into water to create ice bath, quickly stopping the cooking process. Leave eggs in for 10 minutes to chill.
3 - Fill egg stripper with cold water to fill line, then add 1-5 eggs.
Hold egg stripper with both hands in upright position and shake for no more than 5-6 seconds to peel your eggs.
Our top tips for successful experience with egg stripper is: you only need to shake 5-6 seconds and If you get a stubborn egg, keep egg in water, and massage the shell to slide off. Practice makes perfect!
